I'm Toby, a golf coach based at Horton Golf Park in Epsom. I teach golfers of all levels, but most of the people I teach are beginners and juniors. Lessons are relaxed and properly structured, so you'll always know what we're working on and why.

Whether you're brand new to the game, booking for your child or already playing, there's a lesson to suit you. Every first lesson starts with a chat about your golf so far and what you want from it. After that we work on one or two things at a time rather than trying to change everything at once.
If you've never played, or you've only been to the range a few times, this is where to start. We cover the basics properly so you're not picking up habits you'll need to undo later.
Junior sessions are active and kept at the right pace for the child, with targets and games mixed in so it doesn't feel like hard work. They learn the fundamentals the right way, plus how to behave on a course.
Maybe it's a slice, poor contact or a short game that costs you shots every round. We'll look at what's actually causing it and sort that out, rather than just treating the symptoms.

I also work with golfers who already play and want to sort out a specific problem, whether that's their contact, their accuracy or their short game.
Whatever level you're at, the approach is the same. We find out what you want from your golf, work out what will make the biggest difference, and keep it simple enough that you can practise on your own between lessons.

Not at all. A lot of the people I teach are complete beginners, and we start right from the basics.
It depends on the child more than the age. Give me a call and we can talk about whether they're ready.
